    Professional experience says - there's a time and place for medication.
    Personal experience says - never take anything sugar coated cos the reason you are where you are can't be removed with a pill.

    I agree with you. I think antidepressants have a place in certain types of depression but ultimately it is help with coping with the stresses of life that people need assistance with: i.e cognitive behavioural therapy and the like, with the majority of cases.

    I understand what you mean. I have had several friends on "useful" anti-depresant pills, or "happy" pills. As in the UK alone at least 1 in every 3 teenagers are depressed. I know this isn't very useful but there is not alot you can do. I am depressed myself(not that you wanted to know that) but one of the best thinks you can do is be there for you more…
